Carbon Clean returned to one of the largest and most comprehensive automotive events in Britain – The Commercial Vehicle Show, (CV Show), based in Birmingham UK.

Carbon Clean headed off to LOUISVILLE, US for the mid-America Trucking Show. This was our first international show since the pandemic so the Carbon Clean team were very excited to head to America to showcase its products and solutions.

The Mid-America Trucking Show is recognised as the annual gathering place for the trucking industry to gather. The event feature exhibits of the latest technologies and innovations in equipment, product and services, plus extensive industry-targeted education.

Carbon Clean recently visited Buxton for the Hillhead Exhibition which is held in a unique limestone quarry – the perfect setting for live action demos!

Over three days (21-23 June), over 600 exhibitors flocked to the event to see first-hand products for the quarrying, construction and recycling industries in action.

Hillhead boasts to be the biggest exhibition of its kind in the world and provides a unique opportunity to see the equipment in action across four live demonstration areas.

Across the site, there were four separate demonstration areas:

Quarry Face –  three benches spanning the length of the quarry face hosted over 35 machines including excavators, wheel loaders, dumptrucks, dozers, cold planers, hydraulic breakers, screening buckets and mist cannons.

Rock Processing – also known as 'Crusher Alley' where a range of tracked and skid-mounted crushers, screens, scalping grids and stockpiling conveyors were put to the test.

Recycling – this area showed a range of specialist crushers, shredders, screens and washing equipment.

Registration – this area hosted rock processing and recycling demonstrations.

With just under 18,500 unique visitors, Hillhead 2022 proved to be one of the busiest and best-attended shows in the event’s 40-year history. After a four-year gap, everyone at Carbon Clean were happy to see the industry come together again, face-to-face in this unique location.
